Requirements
- Microsoft Windows 95, 98, NT, or 2000
- I have had a couple of people tell me that they have gotten ORB to
work with XWindows by using the WINE emulator.
Preview
This is a more functional version of the Prototype. It has all the graphical
building code and it is capable of saving some area objects such as rooms.

Prototype
A prototype release is a partial code release with extremely limited
functionality. Use at your own risk. I do not support this version yet,
but I do want to hear about any errors.

- Reads SMAUG area files.
- Reads SmaugWiz area files.
- Reads SWR area files.
- Interface allows you to see room, mobiles, and objects.

- Updated the compiler to Borland C++ Builder Version 5.
- Fixed a memory leak from not releasing all of the reset structures.
- Changed the save routine to only write the HELP header if there are
help records to write.
- Cleaned up memory errors in the ROM load routine.
- Cleaned up a memory leak within MRU update code.
- Corrected the problem with the room flags not being visible within
the ORB0229C release or ORB.
- Corrected the problem with the room not saving the description properly
in the ORB0229C release of ORB.
