June 5, 2003Check it out. I have posted my work in progress so you can start playing with it. Download the preview copy of ORB 3.0 to see how things are shaping up. Then send me your feedback and let me know what you think. I want to hear your comments, good or bad. April 13, 2003Wow! Something changed. There have been a lot of people wondering if ORB would ever release a new version. The answer is still yes. Unfortunantly, world events have kept me from making any progress. Now things are looking a lot better and best of all I have some time to start coding again. I am spending this week looking to see if it is possible to release what I have as another preview. This would mean that you can start playing with the graphical editor and do some basic file saves. Which means you can do some actual work with ORB 3.0. So, tell your friends to watch this web site for more updates. Adding resets has never been easier. The reset code in ORB is more complete than ever and the interface is a lot more intuitive. Graphics have been added to the reset tree to make it easier to read.
Download a copy of the prototype and then use it to load your areas and make sure they load and map correctly. The prototype is a really early version of what to expect. It was written before the official development started. Here is some of what you can look forward to:
